The short version

We collect only what we need to run the product. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. Your children's information stays private.

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Parent's name and email address
• Each child's first name, age, and class or grade level

That's it. We don't collect photos, homework content, addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal information beyond what's listed above.

Why we collect it

• Parent email — to create and manage your account, and to send you a weekly progress digest.
• Parent name — to personalise your experience within the app.
• Child name, age, and grade — so StarQuest can tailor sessions to the right level for each child.

Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted services to run StarQuest:

• Supabase — handles authentication and stores your account data securely.
• Google Analytics — helps us understand how people use the site (page views, general usage patterns). No personal data is shared.
• Cloudflare — provides web analytics and protects the site. No personal data is shared.

None of these services receive your children's names, ages, or grade information.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Ever.

Children's privacy

StarQuest accounts are created and managed by parents only. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. The child profile information (name, age, grade) is entered by the parent and used solely to personalise the learning experience.

Your rights

You can at any time:

• Request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct or update your information
• Ask us to delete your account and all associated data

Changes to this policy

If we ever change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and notify you by email before the change takes effect.
